Jack Dean, President
2007-2008
Jack is the Managing Partner and Principal Coach for Bishop & Knight Consulting, a San Francisco based coaching and consulting firm. He enjoys coaching leaders who are striving for personal excellence and are passionate about impacting the world they live in. He served for two years on the Board of Directors of Good Vibrations, a woman-owned, worker-owned retailer with its flagship store in the Mission District. Jack has a degree in International Studies and Political Economy, and has lived for extended periods of time studying social change movements in India, Nepal, China, and Central America. For most of his 7 years in San Francisco, he lived in the Mission District. Growing up, Jack's family was among the working poor who were homeless or often close to homelessness. His mother is disabled and has lived for many years of her adult life in a Residential Care Facility. For these reasons, the mission of Dolores Street is close to Jack's heart.
