About Us
Dolores Street Community Services operates the only shelters for men in the Mission District and the only shelters
in San Francisco specialized in serving Latino working poor men. The
Cohen Residence provides a unique home-like environment while also
being a licensed assisted-living facility for men and women living with
AIDS.
Our funding is broadly-based, spanning the gamut of government contracts, foundation grants, corporate partnerships, and individual donations. Over 80% of our funding is spent on programs and services.
