This Altar for Día de los Muertos was built together by clients and staff to honor loved ones who have passed away as well as all the men and women who have lost their lives crossing the border. We included offerings such as toiletries, food and clothing to remind the community of all that we provide to those in need. Please come by and check it out. It is located at 938 Valencia Street in the Mission.

DOLORES HOUSING PROGRAM

Lástima que no te aviso, de todas las provisiones llevar,
Ahora no te hagas buey y levántate, que yo te voy a encaminar,
Pues ya son muchas horas, que te veo sobre el suelo descansar.

Mira! Esos pinches coyotes, sólo te querían timar y estafar;
Yo tu amiga la pinche flaca, ahorita te voy ….a llevar,
Te recomendaré shelters, misiones y alguno que otro lugar,
Donde te darán: comida, trabajo y un lugar donde pernotar.

Desde San Isidro, San Diego L. A.,…y hasta el frío Canadá
Oh! Que vas a San Francisco, por que la migra no entra a ese lugar!
Te llevare con Cecilia Moreno, dizque es Case  manager en esa ciudad,
Desde que ella me peló los dientes, su profesión es joder y amolar.

Ayudar al inmigrante, que con la pinché parca quiera estar;
Te brindará ropa, calzado,…y un rastrillo para que te puedas rasurar,
Te informará de lugares, para medio tragar y a veces trabajar,
Y te reservará un lugar en el cementerio para que descanses en paz.
