Mission SRO Collaborative/ Families in SROs

Jadma Noronha, SRO Collaborative Manager

Jadma started advocating for immigrant victims of crime in the United States in 2004, and for the past two years was the Anti Trafficking Program Manager for the Cross Bay Collaborative, as well as a member of the Anti-Trafficking Collaborative here in San Francisco. Before moving to the Bay Area, Jadma was the Anti-Human Trafficking Outreach Specialist with Tapestri Inc., an Atlanta non-profit social services agency which works with survivors of Human Trafficking in the Southeast region of the United States. Currently, she manages Mission Single Resident Occupancy (SRO) Collaborative, an initiative that provides outreach, community building and community organizing activities for residents of SRO residential hotels throughout the Mission District in San Francisco.

Frank Calzada Rodriguez, SRO Families United Coordinator

Frank is a half Mexican, half Salvadoran southern California native.   He attended UC Berkeley and studied Political Economics with an emphasis in social welfare and policy.  His previous experience includes being an Eligibility Specialist for Contra Costa County, working with 600 families to maintain their CalWorks, Medi-Cal, and CalFresh eligibility, as well as working as an Outreach Specialist in the department of Public Policy for Alameda County.  He believes that it is ordinary individuals like us who can create and facilitate change in our communities and promote a more equitable society, and that it is our responsibility to be the voice for those populations that have been marginalized by society.
