Anjali Cameron

Anjali Cameron is a marketing consultant helping companies with product marketing, lifecycle marketing and acquisition strategies. Prior to consulting, Anjali was the Head of Marketing for Landed, a Bay Area startup that helps essential professionals purchase homes and Senior Director of Product Marketing at Upwork, a global platform connecting freelancers and clients. She brings over 15 years of experience in direct to consumer and small business marketing along with a passion for driving social change in the California communities where she was raised. Anjali holds her MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a BA in Public Policy from Brown University.

Pedro Hernandez, Jr.

Pedro Hernandez, Jr. is the son of immigrant agricultural workers. His experiences growing up in Watsonville, serving as a student trustee for the local school board, set in motion his commitment to community empowerment at an early age.

Pedro brings both experience and passion to electoral reform and community advocacy. He worked as an Associate at the Law Office of Robert Rubin where he specialized in claims under the California Voting Rights Act. He served as Editor-in-Chief of the Hastings Race & Poverty Law Journal, and as Political Chair at UC Hastings La Raza Law Students Association. He previously served as an Education Equity Fellow at Public Advocates, clerked at the Equal Justice Society and California Rural Legal Assistance (CRLA), and externed at the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights.

Pedro previously served as the Deputy Director of FairVote California. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science, with a minor in American Studies, from the University of California, Davis; and J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he earned recognition for his outstanding achievement in providing pro bono legal services.

Kani Lin

Kani Lin is the Controller at The Unity Council and has previously served as Controller at Community Housing Partnership and the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda. She is skilled in ADP Payroll, Administration, Tax Accounting, Income Tax, and Management. She received her Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University-Hayward – School of Business and Economics.

Chelsey Tanaka

Chelsey has worked in product management at startups in energy, construction, and autonomous vehicles in San Francisco for the last ten years. Most recently, she worked in product strategy at Nuro, where she worked to make autonomous goods delivery in cities a reality. Prior to her time in the autonomous vehicle industry, Chelsey worked at PlanGrid and Autodesk, where she built tools for teams to better manage large construction projects. Before moving into product management, Chelsey worked in nonprofit consulting with the Bridgespan Group and worked for a workforce development nonprofit called Year Up. Chelsey graduated with an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a BA from Harvard University.

Michael Winn

Mike has served on Dolores Street Community Services’ board since 2017 and lives with his wife and two kids in San Francisco. He has spent most of his career working for legal aid nonprofits in California and New York, most recently serving as Directing Attorney for OneJustice. Since 2016, Mike has worked with the Levin Center for Public Service & Public Interest Law at Stanford Law School, engaging law students in community-focused work with local nonprofits and government agencies.
