Ward Penfold is a Counsel at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, where he focuses his practice on white-collar investigations, in addition to commercial and appellate litigation. His pro bono practice includes extensive work in immigrants’ rights, including individual representation in removal proceedings and impact litigation. Before joining O’Melveny, Ward served as a law clerk for the Honorable Dorothy W. Nelson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and spent a year as a Fulbright Scholar in Paris. He received his law degree from the University of Chicago, a Ph.D. in History from Harvard University, and a B.A. in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
